Asta Baumöller studied design & visual communication in New York, Stuttgart and Duesseldorf. She has worked in the media industry since 1989 and has more then 20 years of experience in design, leadership and people & culture topics.
Starting her career in the art direction department of RTL Television in cologne she went on to join VIVA Television as creative director and later on was responsible for the operational management and start-up activities of VIVA Italy in Milan, still supervising all intl. design-activities oft the VIVA Group. After returning to Germany in 2002 she became managing director and member of the supervisory board of the swiss subsidiary branch of VIVA in Zurich in April 2002, which she took into profit during her 5 year term there.
In 2007 Asta stepped down from management, in order to return to Germany and to found MELT.MEDIA BERLIN, a consultancy agency specialized in people & culture topics based in Berlin. She is a certified Digital Transformation Manager and, in addition to her self-employment, works part-time for the design and innovation agency think moto. Baumöller received several national and international design awards, is a member of the German Art Director´s Club since 1999 and has been a jury member at various award shows in the last years.
